I have been so busy lately (being a Mother!), that I haven't had much time for photography. I was trying to think of a project that would inspire me and would you believe it...this just popped up in my inbox! Miss Spanki Mills has been a HUGE inspiration to me not only as a photographer, but as a woman, a friend and a mother. She has extended the invitation to her fellow photographers to GIVE BACK and to help women feel LOVED and BEAUTIFUL!
I have been so blessed to be able to know what Motherhood is like. It didn't happen for me the way that I had planned. It was much, much harder than I had anticipated. And so, so much sweeter! Every trial, every obstacle, every sleepless night....I can truly say that I am grateful for it all.
Each of us have a different journey as Mothers. We are all at different stages on our journey. Some may still be hoping and praying. Some may be at the beginning, wondering when it will get easier. Some may have found their groove and are just enjoying the moments. Some may be wondering how those moments passed by so quickly.
We get lost in the service of our children...lose track of time and sometimes we lose track of ourselves.
This Mother’s Day I want to give to YOU. I want to make you remember you are a WOMAN.
You still have a voice, a passion, an identity.
YOU are BEAUTIFUL.
